Ari Fife is joining The Frontier as a staff writer where she will focus on race and equity issues in the state.
Fife is an Oklahoma City native who graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with a degree in journalism and minors in political science and international studies. She previously covered politics with a focus on race and gender for publications including Oklahoma Watch and the University of Oklahoma’s independent student newspaper the OU Daily. She also worked as an intern at The Frontier during the summer of 2021.
Jillian Taylor is joining The Frontier as an intern this summer. Taylor has a degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma with a minor in diversity studies. Taylor served as editor-in-chief of the OU Daily for the 2022-23 a school year. She also interned with the Tulsa World in 2022. Taylor has a passion for investigative and accountability journalism with a focus on city government, higher education and state politics.
Taylor grew up in Leawood, Kansas. Her family now lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
