As a nonprofit, The Frontier is funded by donations from readers like you. Those donations are crucial. They allow us to take the time needed to find the right stories – the ones that create impact and show Oklahomans what is truly happening in their state.

It also allows us to take the time to get the story right. That Frontier story that took you 10 minutes to read might have taken our reporters and editors weeks, or even months, to produce. None of that work is possible without you.

The Frontier, unlike many newsrooms, is growing. We hired two reporters last year and are adding two more this year. To continue this growth we need your support. You donations not only directly support our newsroom, they show our larger donors that we have the public’s support for our journalism, support that makes it more likely for us to attract the bigger grants that can guarantee our survival in this turbulent journalism world.

I’ve been at The Frontier since the day we launched in 2015 and watched our staff and readership grow each year. I’d love it if you’d consider becoming a donor and supporting our work. We can’t do it without you.
