The Frontier is tracking confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 in an effort to inform people where the virus is spreading.
The first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Oklahoma was announced on March 6. Gov. Kevin Stitt declared a state of emergency in all 77 counties over the virus on March 16.
There have been 13,757 confirmed cases in the state. The state estimates 10,085 people have recovered*.
At least 387 people had died as of June 30 — 2 more reported deaths than the day before and 17 more than a week ago. However, even though some deaths were reported on a certain day, the deaths might have occurred days or even weeks before it was recorded, according to the state health department.
The Frontier will update this page as information becomes public from state health officials, which is typically around 11 a.m. daily. Hospitalization reports are released on weekday evenings.
